Thank you for supporting the work God is doing through Canyon Springs Church. In an effort to keep our congregation better informed, we’re sharing quarterly updates on giving.
Giving Update For 3rd Quarter 2026
As of September 30, 2026, year-to-date giving totaled $494,000, which is $3,000 lower than our projected budget of $497,000. We remain grateful for your generosity and will continue stewarding every gift with faithfulness and transparency.

Ministry Updates
OASIS Youth Ministry
What an incredible season for OASIS Youth Ministry! After a summer filled with amazing camps and fun-filled Sink or Swim gatherings, we launched our 2026–2027 ministry season with our ONE NIGHT Kickoff, bringing together over 125 High School and Middle School students! It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, build friendships, and begin a new season of growing together in faith.
We also celebrated our amazing volunteer leaders at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. These dedicated individuals faithfully invest their time, energy, and hearts into the next generation, helping students grow in their relationship with Jesus. It was a meaningful evening of gratitude, encouragement, and connection as we celebrated the incredible impact our volunteers make in the lives of our students!
Men’s Ministry
This past quarter, our Men’s Ministry brought men together through two special events focused on growing in faith, building friendships, and strengthening community.
Men’s Connect Night: Food, Games & Great Company
Our Men’s Connect Night brought men together for an evening of great food, fun, and meaningful connection. It was a wonderful opportunity to build friendships, strengthen community, and encourage one another in faith.
Baja Bound Man Camp
Baja Bound Man Camp provided an opportunity for men to step away from everyday distractions and spend three days reconnecting with God and one another on the beaches of Baja, Mexico. Through fellowship, meaningful conversations, and spiritual reflection, men were encouraged to deepen their faith, build lasting friendships, and return home renewed and refreshed.
Women of Canyon Springs
This quarter’s highlight was our sold-out Soul Spa Weekend, bringing together 57 women, including 27 first-time attendees! It was a meaningful weekend of building new friendships, strengthening community, and growing together in faith.
Through worship, teaching, and time together, women were encouraged to deepen their relationship with Jesus, trust Him as their Good Shepherd, and experience His peace and restoration.
As we move into Quarter 4, approximately 20 women are gathering through our morning and evening Bible studies to explore the Gospel of Luke. These gatherings continue to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, authentic friendships, and encouragement as women walk alongside one another in faith.
We are grateful for the ways God is bringing women together, strengthening relationships, and drawing hearts closer to Him. We look forward to seeing how He continues to grow this community of faith!
Children’s Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry is off to a wonderful start this fall, with more than 130 kids and volunteers gathering each week through Sunday School, AWANA, and Club 45!
- Sunday School: Our dedicated volunteers create a welcoming, consistent environment where children feel known, loved, and encouraged to grow in their faith and relationships.
- Club 45: Our 4th and 5th graders are exploring the Ten Commandments, learning what it means to love and honor God. On October 19, they will put their faith into action through a service project supporting families at the Ronald McDonald House.
- AWANA: Through the How to Train Your Emotions series, kids are learning to navigate emotions like anger, fear, and sadness by turning to Jesus and allowing God’s Word to guide their responses.
We are grateful for the volunteers who faithfully invest in our children, helping them build friendships, grow spiritually, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives!
Missions Ministry
This past quarter, our Missions Ministry continued sharing the love of Jesus through meaningful service and community partnerships.
Throughout August, Canyon Springs partnered with the San Diego Rescue Mission, sending teams of four volunteers multiple times to serve dinner to individuals experiencing homelessness. Beyond providing meals, our volunteers built relationships, offered encouragement, and connected with residents and staff.
We also continued supporting New Day Urban Ministries and our ministry partners in Mexico, Rio Al Mar and Vision de Dios, through generous donations to our Compassion Bin.
We are grateful for our church family’s generosity and heart for serving others, making a meaningful difference in our local communities and across the border!
Thank you for being part of this story with Canyon Springs Church.
Sincerely,
Your Canyon Springs Staff and Elder Board
