This past weekend, December 6th, Women of Canyon Springs gathered for the 4th Annual Women’s Christmas Dessert and Gift Exchange at Julie Mountain’s home in Scripps Ranch. The house was filled with the warm scents of spiced cider, laughter, and songs by candlelight. Julie shared a heartfelt message about lasting joy, reminding us that true joy is not found in circumstances but in something eternal—Jesus Christ.

The 34 women in attendance generously donated countless pairs of children’s socks to our sister church in Mexico, which would be delivered the following day by the church’s mission trip to Tijuana. We ended the evening with new and renewed friendships and with our hearts filled with hope in the child born in a manger—Jesus, the God-made flesh, who loves us too much to leave us.
