And I Thank YOU!

It’s year end and there are so many blessings to be thankful for at Canyon Springs. I’m thankful for an unbelievable staff of friends that I get to work with. I’m blown away by the way the Canyon Springs faithful care for people in our neighborhoods, students on campus, homeless on the streets and orphans around the world. Lastly, I’m grateful, even humbled by the way the people of Canyon Springs sacrifice so that we can be Jesus’ hands and feet throughout the world. Whether it is $20,000 or $20 we are grateful. We feel so blessed to be able to do ministry with you. ~ Pastor Jack

Your Amazing Accomplishments

A great year of serving those near and far. Enjoy this recap of all you did to be the hands and feet of Jesus this past year:

Missions

  • Haiti – Built a school & swing set
  • Mexico – Built house, raised a roof, & gathered monthly for Women’s Bible Study
  • Over 100 people participated in mission trips in 2016

Shop With a Purpose

  • $15,000 raised for artisans around the world

OASIS Youth Ministry

  • 115 kids on our Houseboat event
  • 12 became Christians
  • 15 Baptized
  • 26 Volunteers for Oasis Youth Ministry

Miracle of Jesus

  • 147 RSVP’s for the event, approximately 300 in attendance

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

  • 72 kids became Christians
  • 35 kids received uniforms in Mexico
  • 100 kids in Mexico served a meal by VBS volunteers

Outreach / Meals

A combined ministries total of approximately 3,400 meals prepared and served for people in need around the world. This includes:

  • 300 Blessing Bags
  • 2,500 Weekly meals by Randy Waynick
  • 700 International missions around the world

AWANA

  • 2,500 Verses memorized

Small Groups

  • 19 Small Groups
  • 30 new people added this year
  • Young Family Army of nearly 20 families w/ kids 7 and under.

Easter

  • 1200 participated in Easter Service

Children’s Ministry

  • 25 Small Group Leaders for Sundays and Club 45

Baptisms

  • 46 people baptized, including middle school and high school
