Thanks for coming out last night you guys! That was a blast. We had 47 kids come out and to be honest…..I never thought I would have been scared of an 80’s movie but those little Gremlins were so creepy. If you dressed up, extra kudos to you!!! If you didn’t dress up, I kind of get it, 80’s style was pretty terrible. Sorry parents..

Here were some of my highlights from last night. What were yours?

  • I loved hearing the 6th grade boys yell like girls
  • It was classic to see the 8th graders go in and out of the room cuz they couldn’t decide if they wanted to watch the movie or hang with each other. It was FOMO at its best.
  • Seeing Brooke and Josh rock it with their clothes. Congrats Brooke for winning! Give your mom props for the hair.

All in all, I love hanging out with you guys. Sometimes you make me feel like a babysitter ;) but most of the time I just enjoy watching movies with ya, talking about God, and learning about faith with you.

See you on Sunday for camp Sunday. I have a fun message planned and I hope you can make it. Remember, 8th graders are in High School Service.
