“Having a stake in your Local Church
Being a stakeholder of a church is so much more than filling out a form. It’s embodying the vision and values of the church. It’s accepting God’s call to join in his mission to advancing Jesus’ kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. And it’s having a stake because you are invested with your time, your unique gifts, and your financial support of the shared vision.

What does it mean to be a Stakeholder?
For us, being a stakeholder of a church is so much more than filling out a form. It’s embodying the vision and values of the church. It’s accepting God’s call to join in his mission to advancing Jesus’ kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. And it’s having a stake because you are invested with your time, your unique gifts, and your financial support of the shared vision.
We believe that a relationship with Jesus can transform your life. We are a church on a mission to transform San Diego and make a transformational impact domestically and around the world. We want it to be evident when you come to Canyon Springs that the Holy Spirit is moving and changing lives.
Our beliefs
We believe the Bible is God’s revelation to humanity about his plan to save the world through Jesus Christ. The Old Testament pointed forward to Jesus in the promises made and pictures painted; the New Testament tells a story of how God fulfilled those promises and continues to restore all things by the Holy Spirit, through us as His church. We keep this good news story of Jesus central in a watering hole that offers life to anyone who comes; the Bible is our source of truth. All believers in Jesus Christ are welcome to be stakeholders of our church.
Our Vision
It’s about the one.
Our Mission
- Relationship with the one (Jesus)
- Relationship with other ones (community)
- Loving the next one (outreach)
- Participating with the one (mission)
Our affiliation
We are part of a family of churches known as the Evangelical Covenant Church in America. Evangelical because we believe in keeping the good news of the gospel central to all we do. Covenant because we believe we are better together. Find our more at https://covchurch.org
