Ava started working at Canyon Springs in September 2024 as the Missions Intern. She will assist in all missional opportunities, domestic and international. Ava will serve at Canyon Springs for the next two years while working on her biblical studies and theology degree at Calvary Chapel Bible College. Ava grew up attending Canyon Springs Church. She started domestic mission work in 2010 and began serving internationally in 2017. Her main goal is to make people feel seen and loved, especially those the world deems invisible.

I grew up in San Diego with my three younger siblings. I love vinyl record shopping, skateboarding along the coast, and propagating different plants. I also love making music and started playing the piano when I was eight years old. I’m a very family-oriented person, and I’m always down to get coffee and catch up or talk about God.
