Club 45 is a program for 4th and 5th graders that reaches beyond the Sunday morning curriculum and provides a “youth group” atmosphere. Hilarious mixers, effective small group sessions, and awesome leaders make this Club one your children will not want to miss! Our Club 45 program meets on Monday Nights from 6:30-8:00 PM at our church location 10695 Treena St #101, San Diego, CA 92131.
What’s a typical Club 45 night?
We start Club 45 with all 4th and 5th graders’ favorite things. Friends, free time, and games! As our students arrive, they have time to hang with their friends, chat with leaders, and play indoor and outdoor games.
Next, students gather together for a “mixer” so that all students can get to know each other better. We review rules and expectations for the night and rehearse our club memory verse as a group (Psalm 1:1-3).
Then our clubbers gather to watch a skit, participate in an object lesson, and engage with an interactive Bible story. We alternate each year at Club 45, learning about the Fruit of the Spirit and the 10 Commandments. These are two foundational principles of our faith.
We wrap up our night at Club 45 with a small group discussion. Students are placed in groups based on age and gender and stay with the same group and leaders throughout the year. This allows them to get to know their peers and small group leaders more intimately as they go deeper into discussions.
