Urban Life Farm Day

UrbanLife Farms is an initiative of UrbanLife in City Heights and Southeast San Diego. The vision of the farm is threefold:
Turn vacant lots of land into thriving urban gardens.
Provide youth with first time job experience through the internship program.
Increase access to healthy foods in low-income neighborhoods. 
Canyon Springs will partner with UrbanLife Farms on Saturday, February 11 for Farm Day! Join us as we get a little muddy and weed, spread mulch, prepare beds and do some planting! Take a look below at the details of this trip!

Time:    2:00 – 5:00pm
Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Bring gloves, water and a snack.
