Join us on Easter Sunday at one of three services for one of our largest and most celebrated weekends of the year to reflect on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Enjoy high-energy worship and an inspiring message. After service, enjoy refreshments and treats while mingling in the courtyard.
And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power.
~1 Corinthians 6:14
Notes on Easter Service
- There are 3 Service Times: 8:00, 9:30*, and 11:00 am
- We are meeting at Marshal Middle School, our Sunday Morning meeting place.
- Childcare provided (see below)
- Volunteer opportunities available (See below)
*We expect our 9:30 am service to be the most crowded, so we encourage you to consider the earlier or later service.
Childcare
We will have childcare for ages 0-5. Your children will be checked into our system and left with our outstanding leaders and Sunday School teachers. Please arrive a bit early if you will utilize the childcare option. They’ll play games, do age-appropriate activities, and, most of all, have fun!
Other Easter Activities
Easter is not only celebrated on Sunday. We host events and activities leading up to Sunday Service.
Palm Sunday, April 2nd: Petting Zoo. Pony Rides. Family Fun!
We can’t wait to celebrate Palm Sunday with you at church! Join us for a fun family event, a petting zoo, and pony rides after church. My Little Pony Rides has offered services for more than 17 years. They have well-trained ponies led by professional handlers. The ponies are gentle. My Little Pony Rides also offers a petting zoo with a baby goat, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and other animals. My Little Pony provides a sensory experience for children. Petting zoos aid humans in forming bonds with animals. Directly after service – 10:45 am – 12:00 pm
Good Friday Service
Friday, April 7th, 6:00 – 7:00 pm at Marshall Middle School. Please note: We will start at 6:00 pm SHARP, so please schedule childcare drop-off between 5:30 – 5:45 pm to accommodate this start time.
Easter Backpacks – Bible in a Backpack
This Easter, you can be a part of bringing the hope of Jesus to those experiencing homelessness with a Bible in a Backpack. We are partnering with the San Diego Rescue Mission (SDRM), which provides meals, shelter, clothing, education, and job-skills training for men, women, and single parents with children experiencing homelessness. *Bibles can be for children, youth, or adults.
Bring a Bible in a Backpack to one of our three Easter Services (8:00 am, 9:30 am & 11:00 am), and we will deliver it to the SDRM.
Add a bath towel, hygiene supplies, and a personal note of encouragement to your backpack as an additional option. Please Note: If you are out of town over Easter, bring your backpack the following Sunday, April 16th!
