Year End 2016

We've reached the Year's End And I Thank YOU! It’s year end and there are so many blessings to be thankful for at Canyon Springs. I’m thankful for an unbelievable staff of friends that I get to work with. I’m blown away by the way the Canyon Springs faithful care for people in our neighborhoods, students on campus, homeless on [...]

Women’s Retreat 2016 Recap

This past March, over 40 women attended the Canyon Springs Women’s Retreat at Forest Home. We were fortunate enough to experience our weekend in the mountains with light snow that glazed the campus the first night! The weekend was filled with laughter, tears, friendship, worship, personal growth as we deepened our relationship with Christ. The theme was based on the verse… “Let the [...]

AWANA Recap – Feb 3rd

Sports Night was fantastic! Our clubbers were all decked out in their favorite team jerseys and uniforms. We continued the cereal theme and the clubbers were a little bit tricked because they were snacking on Cinnamon Toast Crunch (definitely a fan favorite!) but that was not actually our "feature" cereal! To go along with the sports theme, our cereal of [...]

Club 45 Recap – February 1st

Yet another great Monday night at Club 45! After a fun time of playing games inside and outside, we gathered together for group time. We started off with a classic game of "find a shoe!" Each of the kids were asked to remove one of their shoes, put it in a pile and then make a big circle. Ms. Chrissy [...]

There was some big-time competition going on between some of our families (and even within some [...]

Awana Recap – January 20th

We had quite a night in our Winter Wonderland last night! I tried to tell the kids to be careful in the snow and limit the snowball fights to outside (they kept looking at me funny, for some reason?!). Regardless, we were all bundled up in our puffer jackets, ear muffs, gloves and boots! :) Game time was awesome as [...]

CLUB 45 HALF-WAY FINALE!

Well, we reached the half-way mark for the year and celebrated with PJ/Movie Night! Clubbers arrived at the early start time clad in their cozy pajamas and carrying sleeping bags, pillows, stuffed animals and the like. I thought a few of them might just stay the night?! The clubbers enjoyed watching "Inside Out" while partaking in yummy snacks. A big shout-out [...]
