How You Can Help
There are two ways you may help:
- Sponsor through donation, Blessing Bags (Now through 11/10)
- Assemble & Deliver Bags (On 11/12)
Sponsor Blessing Bags
You and your family or Small Group can sponsor Blessing Bags for $10.00 a bag or 5 for $50.00 or 10 for $100.00! We will use the funds to purchase the items listed below. Through your sponsorship of the bags – we will purchase all of the items ahead of time (with the exception of the meat & cheese sandwiches).
See the donation form at the bottom of this page.
Assemble & Deliver Bags (and/or contribute sandwiches)
We will gather on Sunday, November 12 at The Cove and assemble the 250 bags and head downtown as a group. We ask that you make the meat & cheese sandwiches (a loaf worth of sandwiches), place sandwiches in individual sandwich baggies, ahead of time and bring them with you.
OPTION: Even if you can’t come to the Cove or Downtown, you can still help by making sandwiches – please bring these to Sunday Service (on the 12th) to the Info Table or drop them off at the Cove by 2:15pm.

Alpha Project:
This year, Canyon Springs Church is partnering with the Alpha Project on our Blessing Bag event. The mission of the Alpha Project is to empower individuals, families, and communities by providing work, recovery and support services to people who are motivated to change their lives and achieve self-sufficiency. This organization is very familiar with the care and keeping of the homeless of San Diego.
The Alpha Project also requires us to complete a simple Volunteer Form when working with them in the homeless village. This form may be accessed online, and we will have them available for completion at The Cove.
