WHAT A YEAR!!!

It was AMAZING to be back together at Club 45 this year.  Our kids spent the whole year learning about the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. 

 

We kicked off the year with a pool party and pizza at the Kaiser’s house! Our clubbers loved getting to know each other, playing games, taking photos in the photo booth, and of course jumping, diving, and swimming in the beautiful pool.

Club 45 is full of hilarious mixers, interactive games, effective small group sessions, weekly memory verses and awesome leaders that made kids want to come back each and every week!

FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT!

“But the Fruit of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23) 

The Fruit of the Spirit are gifts God gives us when we seek a relationship with Him.  They help us live lives that please Him and show His love to those that do not know Him.

The Fruit of the Spirit are seeds God grows inside of us to show others what His love looks like.  The cool thing is when we accept Jesus to become Lord of our lives, God plants those seeds and they begin to grow.  Our purpose on this earth is to love God and to show God’s love to others.

God sent his Son, Jesus, to show us what our fruit should look like when it is fully grown.

Each week we focused on one fruit of the spirit and applied it to our lives. We heard a story from the Bible and learned about how The Fruit of the Spirit are gifts God gives us when we seek a relationship with Him.  They help us live lives that please Him and show His love to those that do not know Him.

Clubbers also worked hard to memorize our Club 45 verse throughout the year. 

“Happy is the person who doesn’t listen to the wicked. He doesn’t go where sinners go. He doesn’t do what bad people do. He loves the Lord’s teachings. He thinks about those teachings day and night. He is strong, like a tree planted by a river. It produces fruit in season. Its leaves don’t die. Everything he does will succeed.” Psalm 1:1-3

 

We had a few EXTRA special weeks at Club 45! We enjoyed a bring a friend night, had a special Valentine’s Day party, and a had a fun movie night! All these special club times helped our kids solidify friendships and grow closer in small group time.

Speaking of small groups…each week our Clubbers got intimate time with their leaders who related the Fruit of the Spirit to their own lives.  Our leaders were AMAZING!! They prayed for, celebrated, and laughed with our 4th and 5th graders each week.
