Dress With a Purpose, our Fair Trade Fashion Event was a great success.  With over 15 Fair Trade Vendors involved, we saw trendy fashions walk the runway and discovered unique gifts to purchase that would not only bring delight but would support worthy causes.  It was a day of fashion, shopping and most importantly starting a conversation about how our purchasing power can make a positive difference in the world.

Our own Canyon Springs Super models walked the runway wearing designers who make clothes ethically and sustainably.  During the show we were educated by Keira Jones, of StylemeFair, about what Fair Trade is and how we can value what we wear and the people who make our clothes.  We also were able to shop from local Fair Trade San Diego Vendors as well as Fair Trade vendors from L.A., Phoenix, Tijuana and Haiti.

The atmosphere was one of a New York Fashion Boutique, thanks to a talented team who had been working on this event for the last several months and volunteered their time and resources to make this educational fashion event a success.
