Creekside 2017 was a blast! On Sunday, June 18th Oasis Middle Schoolers grabbed their bags and headed north to Forest Home (FoHo) where we spent the week at Creekside! With 38 students and 10 leaders, we were bound to have a great time from the very beginning.
No matter if this was your first time or final time going each camper made lasting relationships that will continue past camp. Throughout the week we learned about who God has called us and made us to be. It is because of that many of our students decided to recommit or dedicate their lives to Christ, some for the first time. Despite the bug bites, sunburns, and few hours of sleep it’s no doubt every one of our Jr. Higher’s was able to experience God in a new way and discover who they are.
Overall, Oasis soaked up as much fun as they possibly could! Plenty of laughs were shared on the bus and in the cabins which bonded the group together in such a wonderful way! We are so excited to have had the opportunity to partner with parents, Forest Home, and our leaders to do the work of the Lord and we cannot wait to see the fruit that will come about from a wonderful week in the woods.
Thank you for supporting this youth group,
Taylor Corzine
