What Ministry / Group do you Volunteer With?
Dennis: Set up Team, Youth Leader for Oasis 11th grade boys.
Donna: Oasis 12 grade girls, Sarah’s Angels, Women’s Ministry, Hospitality.
When did you start coming to Canyon Springs?
2011, when we were at Dingeman Elementary
What made you decide to Volunteer?
Dennis: I wanted to get more connected and I wanted to serve as a mentor to our youth.
Donna: Started with the kids in Sunday School, then as the years went on I have really enjoyed being involved in many areas of church.
What is your favorite part about Volunteering?
Dennis: The camaraderie with the Set Up guys and seeing the youth grow in their faith.
Donna: Welcoming new people and helping them connect. I love ministry where I can help others.
Do you volunteer with organizations, outside of Canyon Springs
Dennis: No
Donna: Young Lives – Teen moms.
About You
Where were you born/raised?
Dennis: Union, New Jersey
Donna: Born in South Carolina, California since I was 6 months old.
What brought you to San Diego?
Dennis: Came to visit a friend summer 1980. The weather and surf were too good to leave.
Donna: My dad was in the military.
What is your job/profession outside of Canyon Springs?
Dennis: Installation Project Manager for a commercial landscaping company.
Donna: Software Consultant
Married/Family/Children?
Married for 22 years with two sons, Chase 19 and Kyle 16. Kyle plays drums for OASIS Youth Worship Band.

What are some of your favorite activities?
Love Mission trips. Love outdoor activities / river / off roading / surfing.
What is your favorite food / restaurant in San Diego?
Brigantine – Scallops, Seafood, Chicken, & Cheesecake.
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
Dennis: I am the only boy of 3 sisters
What is one word or phrase that describes you?
Donna: Spontaneous! I like being at the end of my comfort zone.
