John Ager took the step of telling the world about his darkest hours of life, and how Jesus Christ has affected him. John shares his story of a lifetime struggle with alcohol, from his first drink at a young age to the moment when his family said a change had to happen. Recovery brought him closer to God, and he joined his wife and children at Canyon Springs Church. John’s story is one of bravery, honor, and the ways that God can help – even when you think He isn’t the answer.
The God of my understanding is Jesus Christ, and he loves me just the way I am. I’m no longer ashamed of my part. Hopefully I can use my experiences to help others.
